    62/82 rain..... more reject weather...

    Planning to saw up some cedar logs for a guy this morning, then start on some oaks for another customer.

    Yesterday I slabbed out a chunk of white oak for the guy we're getting all the oak from right now.
    Then I slabbed the other mimosa log, and got started on the cedar..... but then I had to make a trip to the feed mill for a ton of critter food, so my workday got cut short....

    Morning all. Clear and frosty this morning. Going to be another sunny day but the wind is cold. this is going to continue until Monday next week.
    Last day of work for the week. Please pray for my co-worker. Her long time friend is in critical condition. Recovery from surgery is not going well.

    MikeInMa you are probably already enjoying the weekend away by the time I post this. Have a safe and fun time with the guys. I always enjoy the pictures of your trip.
    Backwoods Savage Nice to have friends to celebrate your birthday with.
    Sawdust Man the grain in some of the planks is quite something.

    Good afternoon! 73F and cloudy, cooling off tomorrow and looking to stay that way. Had a carry in at work so there's not much energy for the afternoon. Delivering 1/4 cord mixed hardwoods to a coworker after work, then probably resplitting some ash and filling the firewood stand until dark. Have a God day!

    Good afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll have had a FABULOUS FRIDAY. I'm working 7AM-7PM shift this weekend. Partly cloudy.
    We made it home from JAX about 9:15 last night, traffic wasn't bad. Stopped at a place with a catchy name on the way back...said they serve breakfast and BBQ... 20231026_165819.jpg

    Miz Carol has been very frustrated with her golf cart, numerous trips to the shop...ect...we wanted something reliable and can haul grandkids too.
    We got the upgraded roof system...

    I think we're gonna name it "Early Retirement"...lol...
    Maybe "Lil Blue" since we have "Blue Samson" for the splitter.
    It rides so smooth...

    Brought a bucket of wood chunks to work, gonna grill up some sausages for a few guys.
