Good Morning, Brothers & Sisters Thread

Good morning. 60 outside with partly cloudy skies. Might take the dog for a run later. Of course i will be on the ATV.

 

We got 45' of metal put on before the storm hit. Had a little hail in it. Just my hunny and me on the roof today, running strips and fastening metal panels. We is TIRED.

Made it to the stove pipe.

 

Now I'm impressed. I can't imagine tackling that job.
We have a metal roof too, we got it mainly to avoid ice dams (something I doubt you have down there). We've been happy with it, but we had some leaks around the stacks, had to have boots put on the stack pipes.

 

Thanks.......I've found spots sore I didn't know I had......no ma'am, we don't have ice dams, but it helps cool the house and has better lifespan than shingles...I have a big boot for the stack and a small one for the vent pipe. We have done about 8 or 10 roofs probably. This is our roof we did when we added on the mud room at the top left.

Looks like another day of cleaning, cooking, and rassling with my accountant over my late mom's taxes. It's very complicated this year, and I only half understand what he's been yammering about.
Maybe I can sneak in some splitting time, I know I'll need it.

Mornin' Hoarders.......................woke up to 3" of new snow and still snowing. They say 4-8" before it is over. Temp sitting on 32 right now. Appears that we will be going from winter directly into summer one of these months.

Good morning everyone! Pick of the week weather-wise, but I have to drive to MA this AM. Maybe I can get back soon enough to salvage the afternoon. I'm going to "encourage" someone at the condo management office to give me the certificate I need for our closing next Wednesday!
