Morning all. Storm alert warnings out for our area. Wind with rain tonight so it was a bit of a surprise to see the sun out this morning and the wind starting to show up. It will be interesting to see what comes of this. Took Mom to a funeral yesterday. The last remaining contemporary still living in her community. Fortunately she has lots of friends of younger ages but it is still hard to be the last one left of your age group.

Bookkeeping, watching the Blue Jays struggle to stay alive for playoffs and hopefully some time in the sewing room are in the cards for today.

    Everyone have a great day.

    Good morning, members.

Another rainy day. 3rd day in a row. Low 60's

Taking dad to an orthopedic Dr this afternoon. He's getting cortisone shots in both wrists to help alleviate discomfort from carpal tunnel.

    Be safe

Morning all. We had a very windy day and night yesterday with sunshine most of the day. This morning it is dark and pouring with rain. Not that we don't need it but it is better to come as a soft rain that soaks everything instead of rivers of water running everywhere.
Got some bookkeeping done, shopping done and watched the Blue Jays win. yeah! they stay alive for another game.

Off to work this morning in the dark and the rain.

    Everyone have a great day.

    Good morning, members.

And on the 4th day, the rains ceased. 2.5 inches of rain since Saturday.

Overcast day ahead. Cool. Mid-40's tonight.

I'll be dealing with a few wood efforts today. IE: moving splits and chunks to the deck.

    Be safe

Good morning everyone! With an extended dry forecast, I'm going to tackle some exterior painting I've been putting off.

I'm finding out when you have older things it can be a problem finding replacement parts. Need axels for atv. Hard to find but hopefully found some yesterday.

It is another day. 07:00 and still dark outside. The season is changing. My former helper-neice- engineering student is home a few days after moving back from Grand Rapids. We are going for a motorcycle ride today, through southern Indiana. The leaves are just beginning to turn.

I have attacked some tree tops now that the weather has cooled a bit. Several rounds are cut, so moving my splitter from the bottom pasture to the wood yard is on the agenda, then I hope to start filling the boiler woodshed.

    enjoy a blessed day, all.

    Good morning y'all.

    57/87 still too hot

Planning to do more unplanned work today.

Yesterday's unplanned work included sorting out a bunch of cedar, and removing a big ol dead oak for a neighbor...it was way too close to his house...

Morning all. Heavy overcast and rain this morning. Good thing the car has new shoes on as campinspecter is headed down to get new calipers put on for the back brakes. We have a brake hanging up on the back. This car has a different cruise control system than the last ones we have had. It actually applies the back brakes when going down hills and the speed climbs. We use the cruise control a lot as most of our driving is long distance driving on what you would consider highway back roads.

I am off to work today. Nice to be working inside on a day like today.

Sawdust Man Looks like that oak was ready to come down on its own. I assume those will be mill logs you were hauling away.
T.Jeff Veal enjoy a couple of days off being busier than ever.
Backwoods Savage Some things are still available. We have Grampa's outboard from the 50s and I think you can still get ignition pieces last we looked.
Sourwood Enjoy the ride and the view. Here everything just turns brown. More so this year as it has been so dry up until now.

    Everyone have a great day.

Yes, we'll try to make a few boards out of them but they are partially rotten, so not sure if they will be any good.
