    Morning all. It rained off and on yesterday. Weird ballgame but we will take the win. The opposition pitcher was doing so well until he slipped. Hate to see that. My immediate thought was knee damage.

    It is dark outside so I don't know what it is going to do today.

    Good morning! 69F and mostly cloudy, rain is supposed to be hit and miss throughout the day. Good weekend selling firewood with temps cooperating for camp fires. Went to a hearing with the zoning board this morning. I was nearly at the end of the list. Took about 2 minutes once they got to me. The guy asked if I had plans to expand my roadside stand. I said certainly not. It's all the work I can handle. The exception was approved and now I'm legal. Probably splitting again tonight if the weather cooperates. Have a God day!

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. High of about 88°, I'll take that. Back to work on the 7AM-7PM shift this week. Plans for the evening includes some woodyard therapy, we have an open 1 cord shed needing some oak in it.

    Had another fire in stove yesterday but probably not today. It is wet out there but rain should be about done. That will usher in some cooler air again. Welcome fall.

    We got .65' rain last night..... just a gentle quiet vertical rain....so nice!

    Planning to saw cedar logs today.... too wet to work on the barn without making mud.

    Good morning! 62F and cloudy, some occasional rain this morning and clearing in the afternoon. Rain cancelled my plans for splitting last night but I did get a break long enough to refill the firewood stand. My wife has been wanting a headboard in the master bedroom. We bought an antique door slab that was very "rustic." We got started last night by cutting 5" off the bottom and using a wire brush to remove flaking paint. I also cut the 2 side posts. More to come. Hopefully splitting will happen tonight. Have a God day!

    Morning all. Rain this morning. I think we need it but the weather has been so nice all summer. I hope it lifts for the weekend.
    Crazy day yesterday at work. It seems all I did was answer emails.
    campinspecter is doing better with his knee so he is able to get around more.

    WinonaRail glad to hear the hearing went without a hitch.
    T.Jeff Veal holidays are nice but it is hard to get back into the working mode. At least that is what I have found.
    Sawdust Man that barn is really coming along. I can see mud happening really quick if it is raining.
