Morning all. Yesterday was more of the same weather. Smoky and warm. This morning at breakfast, I heard a thunder roll and just now while I am typing this, I heard another one. I think we have a system coming so hopefully we will have a clearing out of the smoke and no fires started by the storm.
I am off to work this morning. Prep time for the big show next week when the students arrive. I am going to enjoy the peace of this week.

Good afternoon! 72F and sunny, beautiful weather this week turning hot again by the weekend. I got some splitting and mowing done yesterday afternoon/evening. Small load of limbs dropped off at the wood yard today. I'll probably split the small stuff tonight and stack the rest for cutting this weekend. I also need to get started splitting a few more totes of mixed hardwood. Have a God day!

Hit the score for the third time this afternoon. Pretty humid day for this time of year. Couple hours work and got rained on twice. First time i hopped in the truck and fired up the AC. Sun came out while its raining and sure enough...rainbow. No pot of gold unless the BL in my PU is the gold!

Good morning, y'all. 74° and cloudy. Finished night shift, off for 3 days. Planning to haul pine logs to the chip mill this morning. Then see what happens, may be getting rain from the storm heading towards FLA.

Good morning! 72F and sunny. Awakened at 5:30 to the sound of trucks and equipment at my neighbor's construction project. It was pitch black out for Pete's sake... Anyway, I finished mowing the back yard last night. Just beautiful weather. Then surveyed what the tree service left for me and split the smaller stuff that didn't need to be cut. Chance of rain tonight so not sure what I'll be doing after work. Have a God day!

Good morning friends, supposed to be in the upper 70’s for the next three days. Glad to see it the Dew point has been so high just makes it miserable to do anything. Notice yesterday evening just how much daylight we have lost.

 

Morning all. Well, that rumbling I heard yesterday morning was a lightening and thunder storm over the community across the water. The Principal lives over there and she didn't want to leave her dog at home so we had an extra staff member in the office. Sadie is very well behaved for a 17 month dog. Last night coming home from a church board meeting, there was sheet lightening in the skies. Hopefully all this lightening activity hasn't spark more fires in the woods. It is still very dry around here.

Heavy overcast this morning with some smoke it in. No wind so nothing is moving. No rain either.
