Tell me about it! Maybe I'll go Friday, it will be too cold and windy to do much outside, might as well take a drive.

Friday? Forecast looks like a few inches of snow in the Keene area. Nice ride, though.

I'm seeing 1-3, first snow isn't hard too deal with, no ice underneath. But I may rethink this.
    ~edit~
What I really should do is go Thursday, before the weather. If I can get some of those sugar maple rounds out of the hollow and up by the driveway, it would be so much easier to grab them later.

Good morning everyone! I got to play with this guy yesterday, he lost his own two front teeth but he's making do. IMG_20191106_27793.jpg
I'm singing the same sad song as everyone here, not ready for winter! Last year it was mild right up to the second week of January. But, I am looking forward to all-day fires.
Hope you all can get a lot done today!

All's good. Gutters clear, ladder put away. I appreciate a one story house, the more time marches on. I'm thinking a gutter blowing attachment, will be making it on my Christmas list. Nobody ever knows what to get me, so as things like this come along, they get mentioned.

    Lawn mowed.

Garden hoses laid out, draining, drying.

It is so nice out, I even filled several bird feeders.

Wood stove is lit, but on low. Windows cracked open at far end of the house.

Glad it went well. Hard to believe what's coming, isn't it?

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Got to finish loading the dump trailer and deliver a full cord load of 1yr oak and a bit of cherry. They have a nice shed in their barn to store it, had been getting pick up loads before. My hunny got 2 rows loaded yesterday afternoon.
This rack will be empty when we get loaded. 3 rows deep. IMG_20191106_103518478.jpg
Lend a hand, share a smile, be encouraging.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

    Good morning, everyone.

Today the rack on the deck gets refilled. 8foot rack.

Then, more leaf management, pull back bark mulch from septic covers (time for annual emptying), and more perennial bed cleanup.

Good morning everyone! I'm going to make an early run out to WeldrDave's place this morning. Looks like the rain comes in around noon out there. Plenty of time to pick up a load! Latest snow estimate is only a dusting to an inch, and it will fall on warm wet ground, so it won't stick. Next week, however....
I got a fair amount of yardwork done yesterday, so I'll pick up where I left off on Saturday. Tomorrow is cold and windy, so I'll start splitting the new oak in the driveway, good weather for that. Every chore has its season!
Mike, it's always a surprise to me when winter arrives. The cool sunny fall days lull me into thinking they will go on forever. My favorite time of year.
    Have a good one, everyone!

Wow! I haven't even lit a fire yet! Looks like it'll happen here Friday. I usually don't fire up the stove til the 40ยบ mark. I used to do a traditional "Halloween" fire just for ambiance if it was cool enough, haven't done that in 5 years now.
