    Good morning, members.

    Foggy start. Mid-60's. Yuk
Thunderstorms in a few hours. Yuk

I need to run some errands today, ahead of my dad's 95th birthday tomorrow. I've decided to cook lobsters and ears of corn, on-site at the assisted living. There's a full kitchen and large seating area right outside their room. While he's had lobster rolls recently, he's not had a whole lobster. The corn is coming from a local farm. Their corn has been held in high regards in my family for decades.

Siblings and spouses will be in attendance, 7 or 8 in total. Only mom and dad are getting lobster. Everyone else is bringing their own lunch. There will be corn for all.

    Be safe

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. 65° heading to low 90's. I missed yesterday...:emb:...guess I was having too much fun at work... ...
Off today, so we are heading over to a neighbor's place to drop some pine trees, they are selling their house to their daughter/SIL and putting a single wide at the back of the property. We will take the pine to the chip mill next week, not taking any today.
We'll see what the rest of the day brings...
Be encouraging, lend a hand, share a smile.

    Good morning y'all.

    63/87 sunny.

Not sure what the plan is for today, will have to see what happens.

Yesterday morning I delivered the load of cedar, then took the kids to my sister's place to visit mom.
While we were there I got mom to teach my daughter how to make a special kind of beans she learned to make from my great grandma......

Morning all. Skies are partially clear this morning. No heavy fog. I think we are in for cooler weather. Yesterday it was really windy here in the afternoon so the high pressure is on the move. Not really keeping track of what is forecasted as it seems like an endless summer here since the beginning of June. Unreal.
    Usual chores today.

MikeInMa Enjoy your father's 95th birthday tomorrow with the family. Mom had her 95th during our COVID shutdown so it was pretty limited. Nice that all the neighbours and friends did a car parade and then stood outside the house and sang Happy Birthday.

    Everyone have a great day.

I moved some wood into the barn this morning. It is really nice working weather today. It is 65 degrees now, a bit breezy and dewpoint finally back in the 40's.

    Good morning everyone.
Next week there are actually several days with no rain and highs in the 70s. I'll take it!

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. 68° heading to the low 90's again. Off today, so we have a yard to cut, also going to help work on his JD mower. Might go out for supper later. We got the pines cut for the neighbor yesterday.

    Good morning y'all.

    67/97 misery.

Planning to make sawdust today "till we can't stand it no more".

Not much accomplished yesterday due to an unscheduled day off......though, I did manage to get the ignition switch replaced in the 97 Silverado, so that was something anyhow.

Reject weather here for the next week it appears....

Morning all. Here in Paradise, we have the fog burning off early for a nice sunny day. Temps might get to 72 F. Hopefully no wind today. Yesterday it was windy so the temps were cool. The rest of province is battling fires, heat and smoke but not here. I am still down with the remnants of my cold and cough. I slept wrong last night so now I have a headache on top of it all. As the day goes on, I will feel better.

Saul was a determined man, bent on doing God's work in suppressing the upstart cult started around Jesus' teachings. He and a few others were headed to Damascus to search out members of the cult to take back to Jerusalem. God had other plans for Saul. A bright light arrested their travels and Jesus talked to Saul about his new mission. Saul was a changed man.

How often do we get so caught up in our own plans for us that we forget that God has a plan for us? Are we open to what the Bible is telling us? Do we search the scriptures diligently to find God's truth for our lives? Saul knew the letter of the scriptures but he had missed the Spirit of the scriptures. We may not have the "stop in our tracks" experience that Saul had but Jesus is definitely looking to change your life for the better if only you invite him into your life.

Jeremiah 31: 3 The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:
    “I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

    Happy Sabbath, everyone.

Good morning. Coffee service duty at church then a family get together with our children and grandchildren later. Got in 11 quarts of tomato sauce for the pantry yesterday morning.
