    Massachusetts has suspended it's 6.25% sales tax this weekend. I know NH is sales tax free, but I'll save some gas usage. I hope to pick up an impact drill today.

    Hoping the rains stop coming for a while. This started out as an extremely dry summer but since late June has been unusually wet. Heavy rain again yesterday and one tornado south of us. It is strange to have so much severe weather because the heat has mostly missed us. But maybe because so much heat to our south and SW and then cooler here, it mixes and causes bad things. Still, we are fortunate to not have the worst weather others have had. If this weather continues this year will make a huge problem for getting crops out of the fields. Lots of mud.

    Off today, so we have a tree job to do this morning...dead pine with plenty of PO vine on it...say a little prayer for safety.
    This afternoon we are planning on a trip to the truck/tractor pull with friends.

    75/89 miserable muggy, it's kinda raining now.

    Planning to saw up another pile of cedar logs today.
    Tom was not selected for jury duty, so he's happy about that!

    Morning all. Yesterday turned out to be spitting rain all day. I got a few things done during the day. No sewing though.

    Phillip was asked by God to go down the road to Gaza from Jerusalem. No questioning the request, he up and goes. On the road he sees a man reading from the book Isaiah so he eavesdrops. The result is a baptism and a Christian believer. How often when we are asked of God to go, do we question why or what? Heading out to the unknown is scary but if we place our faith in knowing God only wants the best for us, we have the assurance we are doing God's will.

    “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation” Romans 1:16

    Good morning. Back from a two day motorcycle ride. Good to be looking at the hills in out my back window.
    rain delay for the ride yesterday morning but then turned to be perfect. Another great day is coming, weather wise.

    through the very southern part of Indiana, it seemed every house had tree branches layer at the curb for pickup, and other homes we’re working cutting wind damaged trees. Been a tough summer for storms.

    Morning all. Today is supposed to be the start of our heat alert. Our area may get up to 78 F. The other end of the island will much warmer. Gorgeous morning on my walk this morning.

    Good evening! Sitting in front of a fan in the shop cooling down from splitting. 79F and partly sunny. Cut and split a bunch yesterday and moved some cedar logs out of the wood yard to the rear storage area. Then met some friends for dinner at a Mexican place we hadn't tried yet.

    Church this morning followed by lunch and then a much-needed nap. Tackling a few more chores today. Have a God day!
