    Good morning y'all.

70/94 slightly less miserable than the last few days.
I'm happy for y'all yankees that are getting some cooler weather this week.

Plan to rest today..... probably take the kids over to my sister's place this afternoon to visit my mom, she flew down from the PNW to my sister's for a visit and she hasn't seen our kids in 3 years.

    Yesterday's evidence of activity...
Among other things, we converted those oak logs into 6x6's and sawdust. IMG_20230729_075600.jpg IMG_20230729_171513.jpg

    Y'all have a blessed day!

Morning all. Seeing the sunrise this morning. Looks like it will be a nice day. We didn't get rain yesterday. I haven't checked to see if it is in the forecast for today.
campinspecter and I are going to try walking again in the mornings. Apparently it will be good for my knees. They are damaged but if I strengthen the muscles around them, I can put off surgery for quite awhile.
After that bookkeeping, etc for the day.

    Everyone have a great day.

Nope, they're fence posts.... overkill imo, but I just do what the customer wants.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 72°, heading to 94° they guesstimate. 1 more nite to work. Plan on cutting grass and brush mowing with the tractor this morning.
Had another shower late afternoon yesterday, so maybe the Bahia grass will cut better, less dust too.

It sounds like a lot of people are happy to get some relief from the heat. Yes!

    Good morning y'all.

68/91 clouds and sun, (and humidity a plenty)

The kids and I had a nice time visiting my mom yesterday.

Still planning the day, not sure what it'll be...... but it will to include pain and sweat for sure.

    Y'all have a blessed day.

Morning all. Yes, it rained yesterday so nothing happening outside. Got a lot of bookkeeping done and watched the Blue Jays lose.
Rain predicted for today. Our area is out of fire watch as the fire hazard is quite low now.

    Everyone have a great day.

The predictors missed their mark a bit. Glad we were done working outside by 12:30PM.

    Good morning, members.

Another nice day ahead. Mid-70's and reasonable humidity.

I'll be splitting some wood from a fallen ash tree. Haven't done too much of that lately so my stamina isn't where I like for it to be. Slow and steady works for me.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 73° heading to low 90's. Happy August 1st. Beautiful super moon still hanging in the western sky.
Finally done with 7PM-7AM shift for the week, off 3 days. Have to take car in for software update this morning, hope to split wood later. Need to pick up a cargo trailer from my cousin, going to Jax, Fla tomorrow morning, hauling SIL's things from storage down there, she found a place to rent...

Another foggy morning. This is one more thing about this summer. I don't think I've ever seen so much fog as we are getting this year. Talk about humid...

    Good morning y'all.

    73/89 humid.

Planning to saw up a few little cedar logs for a customer this morning, then hopefully some more pine.

Delivered the 6x6's yesterday, and brought back a load of pine logs they had saved for me, they are blow downs from the last storm.
Tom and I stickered Saturday's pine lumber when I got back home. IMG_20230731_121647.jpg IMG_20230731_130715.jpg IMG_20230731_130739.jpg

Good morning! 64F and mostly sunny. Temps pleasant but rising through the week. Customer messaged me for a bundle delivery yesterday. Repeat order for a lake house rental. Customers were checking in at 4:00. I hurried home after work, grabbed a few bundles out of my roadside stand and made the rest. Delivered (25 minutes away) at 6:15. Returned home to make a few more bundles for the stand. Then loaded a bunch of shorts and uglies from my stockpile to refill a tote at the roadside stand and moved the last few splits out of a tote so I can fill it this weekend. I'll probably split bundle wood tonight. Have a God day!
