    Son left yesterday heading to Yooperland. He still loves that land but he'll be back in a couple days.

    The crew really got to work in the neighbor's woods. There is actually 2 crews; one logging and one chipping.

    78/94 full on humidity I'm done with summer.....
    On a more positive note, our power came back on around 10am yesterday.

    Planning to saw up some more pine logs today.

    Mornin' all. 63 here this morning. We are still in the settling-in mode with our new doggo, AUGIE. It is amazing what a smooth transition it has been. He seems to be one happy pup and we are just lovin' him to death.

    Last day of 7AM-7PM shift, so it's my FRIDAY...:dex::dex::thumbs::thumbs::dancer::dancer:
    Got the big yard cut last night, done by 9, I was :quad:. We have to spot trim and blow off the driveway this evening. Taking a short vacation with our daughter/SIL/2 grandsons, going to Hilton Head Island for the weekend, come back Monday afternoon. Should be an adventure...:cool::whistle::rofl: :lol:

    Good morning! 78F and cloudy/hazy with some rain expected today. I just got caught up reading here. Last night I needed to refill the roadside stand with 2 stacks of campfire wood as well as oak and cherry. Music practice at church tonight then hopefully pick up a part to fix my ailing splitter.     Afternoon all. Just realized that I didn't post this morning. Busy morning and just capped it off with a win for the Blue Jays. I think I will head down to the sewing room to celebrate. I nearly have another quilt project finished. I just have to figure out why my stitches keep skipping. I think I need a new sharp, sharp needle. Just can't sharpen the old ones like a chainsaw.

    Had a bad storm yesterday but fortunately the worst missed us. Not far away there was lots of hail damage with tennis ball sized hail. I lost one of my computers so maybe I need a new surge protector and maybe a new computer.

    Mornin' folks. 60 and heavy rain here. Looks like about 2" in the rain gauge since yesterday evening. The new Augie Dogge continues to settle in very happily. He craves attention and just loves to show his affection. Amazing how then thrive when they have human interaction as opposed to being alone and isolated. Everyone have a great day and stay safe.
