    A rainy overnight with thunder. More through the day. Mid-80's and muggy.

    We'll be off to my SIL's for lunch today. Probably followed by some card or board game. Mrs MikeInMa will be baking a strawberry rhubarb pie this morning to take over.

    71/89 muggy.....we got another little batch of rain last night.

    Planning to either saw lumber or haul logs today.

    I got the last two loads of saw-able oak yesterday, but there's probably three loads of mixed firewood stuff that's gotta be either hauled out or else we'll have to burn it on site.

    Unfortunately I accidentally set my phone camera to ginormous file size, so the site won't let me load em, and I'm far too dumb to figure out how to resize em... sorry.

    Miz Carol checked out ok. No obvious signs of anything wrong, did a few biopsies on acid reflux damaged spots. Another test next month.

    This muggy weather has me sleeping lousy. 72⁰ with >90% humidity. Too cool for AC. I'll be napping for sure.

    More scattered thunderstorms today.

    Good Morning... :coffee: .... Had some rough storms come through last night... The leading edge was definitely impressive.... Upto 80 mph winds... Raining sideways .... Lots of tree limbs down... power outages... I only saw one tree down and it was in a park....

    68/89 miserable muggy after last night's downpour..... allegedly we got 1.6".....

    Planning to take the tractor up and clean up after ourselves at the pine salvage job, but the mud may not cooperate.... we'll see what happens.

    It was pretty interesting here when it came through, but it was loosing momentum by the time it got to us, so probably not as spectacular as y'all had.....it hit right after dark so all we saw was gobs of lightning and of course we heard the heavy rain.

Split and stacked a little oak in the shade with the fans yesterday evening. Making some nice OT in the AC at work today and tomorrow. If the storms pass us, planning on more wood therapy when I get off.

    Morning All. Yes, I know it has been few days but this holiday thing is crazy busy. Can't believe the weather we are having. No rain for the last month it seems. No really cold westerly winds either. The whole month of June has been summer for us.

    The Jewish leaders of the Pharisees and Sadducees were grinding their teeth in anger. The apostles were preaching salvation and healing in the name of Jesus in the streets against the Jewish leaders orders. Peter and John were hauled off to jail to re-think their behaviour. God knew that jail wasn't the place for them so he sent an angel to free them. When Peter and John were found preaching in the temple again, they were brought before the Sanhedrin to explain their behaviour.

    But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men. 30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. 31 Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.” Acts 5: 29-32

    Finally got Dad to give in... and take my generator down to keep his refrigerator and deep freezers cold... They say maybe tomorrow afternoon before power is restored to his area... Pretty rough down there, he said the NWS said 30 minutes of 80mph winds... Lots of trees limbs down and some trees down...
