    Good Morning... :coffee: ... Someone stepped up there game of fireworks last night in the neighborhood.... I think they finally stopped around midnight... and then 12:30 Mother nature provided her own fireworks.... It was a pretty healthy line of t-storms.. and its still raining... we needed it... So I'm slightly needing the :coffee: ... :D

    Morning all. Heavy fog overcast so campinspecter is headed over to cut brush this morning. Three days of work left. Can you tell I am counting? It has been a crazy year this year at work. Situations with staffing shortages never seen before. All us old retirees have come out of the woodwork to fill in the gaps.

    It seems like our generation coming out of the woodwork is what is keeping both countries afloat. They pauperly pays us old age pension (our money to begin with) and then expect to work us into the grave so the wokes and other assorted idiots can free load from home. :headbang::headbang::headbang:

    Good morning! 83F and mostly sunny, back to work from an extended weekend. Various firewooding activities mostly revolving around splitting wood. I was tipped off about a pile of free wood just a couple miles away so I went early yesterday. Turned out to be cottonwood. I took 6 rounds that were cut about right along with some random length 2"x4"s and left the rest for others. Then we started deconstructing the pool to replace the liner. Heat and wasps overtook us so we went in for breakfast and a nap. Went to the in-laws in the afternoon for a great meal and then just sat around into the evening. Probably heading to bible study at church tonight. Have a God day!

    Got some heavy rain late yesterday. We needed rain but this came a bit hard so a lot will just run off but the crops should enjoy the rain. I kept thinking while it was coming down hard that perhaps this would be nice to get rains like this up in the Canadian wilds where the fires are.

    Would be great except that when we get really heavy downpours this time of year, they generally are accompanied by lightning too.

    Yesterday we got all the oak beams up.....hopefully we can get the rafters up today.

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 72° heading to 93° today. We got .6" rain yesterday evening. Planning on moving the splitter and doing some clean up on the woodyard. Got to cut the big yard, once it dries off. Hope to load some big knotty chunks and take it to a friend's hunting camp, they have a huge fireplace.

    Morning all. Heavy overcast and fog again this morning. It didn't quite clear off yesterday so the men pouring cement sidewalks below our place had a prefect day for doing the job. Our church is being repainted so the weather is great for that as well. campinspecter spend a lot of yesterday clearing brush as it was cooler and overcast. We must be the only place in Canada with cool weather as 100 miles down the island, they are roasting. Same as most of the province.
