Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS Memorial Day Monday. Finally have a few days off. We're heading back to a job we started in February, where the yard was so wet. Got to get up the rest of the pecan, maybe take some smaller trees down. I think it's BL, will know when I see the leaves.
Got a friend coming to pick up a log or 2 for a rustic bench.

Morning all. Yes, I know I missed yesterday. We started the day with a planned power outage that was supposed to last 10 hours. An hour late, the power comes on. 5 mins later the power goes off. 6 hours later the power comes back on. Not sure what the second outage was from but I have a feeling it was only our area of town as the street lights were on down town. With three generators running, campinspecter got to watch baseball and I got to work on my sewing project. Generator kind of revs up when I used the iron.

Up early again today as campinspecter headed out for another load of firewood. I think after this, he will only have one more load to get. So I have banana bread and banana cake in the oven this morning. campinspecter likes almost green bananas and there were four very yellow bananas with small black spots so I made cake and bread. Waiting for it to come out of the oven.

Chazsbetterhalf so awesome to hear you are back home. I will still be keeping you in our prayers.

Oh no. The cake and bread came out of the oven and it looks and smells awesome. I haven't made either for quite some time. I haven't had breakfast yet either so the smell is driving me bananas!

    Everyone have a great day.

Good Morning…just made it in from up north. Beautiful weather for getting the garden in up there, and other odd spring chores.

Good Morning... :coffee: ... Yesterday was really nice... under the shade of a canopy splitting wood... Finished up splitting the elm that was cut.. it was funny some split easy and some split with a bunch of firestarters attached... but I have a big mound of bark that'll get tossed into the burn pile... Now its back to bucking to get that pile back up...

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. A cool 55° this morning. We went to dinner at Longhorns with friends last night, stopped by Lowe's on the way back. Got a sheet of Advantek for a project and 50 bags of red mulch while it was on sale. Hope to split more oak today.
Those trees were BL. I'll start a thread on that score.
    Be blessed, be a blessing

    Good morning y'all.

    61/87 sunny.

Sawdust manufacture this morning, then I gotta take the pickup in for some new tires, after that's accomplished I'll probably haul another load of logs.

We drove by this place on our Sunday drive..... IMG_20230528_112713.jpg

    Y'all have a blessed day.
