    Good morning! 59F and sunny, no rain for several days and temps climbing. Looks like spring is over. Lots of cutting and splitting in the wood yard over the weekend. Built another rack to hold splits. Grabbed a few pallets for inventory this morning. Gotta tear into the pull cord on the splitter to see why it isn't working tonight. And make a few mini bundles. Have a God day!

    It has been a busy two days with early risings and go, go, go. yesterday we got to play with the grandkids. Nice that I could skunk our grandson at crib. In another year or so, I won't be able to. He is catching on fast. They let me win a Mario game too. Of course, that was only after my grandson took my turns while I got dinner on the table. Today we traveled down to visit a friend who has been in hospital 3 months. Unfortunately he is not getting better and they don't know what's wrong with him. Hard visit.
    Back to work tomorrow for a short week.

    Good Morning... :coffee: ... I just realized yesterday that it was T minus 7 days before my leaving for Dennis's GTG... With everything going on at work, been super swamped the last 3 weeks... It made my 10 hours feel like a short day... it felt weird getting off at 4 pm... Got my Baby Chicks moved to the outside inside the old chicken coop that I first built when I first started with chickens... Its on a pallet and I just move it around with the tractor...

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Another cool 44° morning here at work. I'll be off for 3 days in a couple hrs...:dex::dex:...didn't get exactly done what was planned yesterday morning...put different blades on the mower, mowed a wet area, then Miz Carol took over, she cut 5 yards total. While she was doing that, I got the Husky trimmer and got the log yard looking better... 0410231312a.jpg
    Then I raked an area smooth, moved the debris, and got the pallet rack built for some pecan to be split... 0410231312.jpg
    The wood blocks will allow us to attach 2x4's to hold a roof...
    We have to go to a friend's house this morning, trim/cut the big ditch and they have some limbs and a couple dead dogwoods to cut...

    Good morning! 45F and sunny, beautiful weather this week. Filled a big rack in the roadside stand last night, finally got the alternator out of my truck and the new one in (still need to route the serpentine belt and make a few connections), made some mini bundles and kindling bags. Tonight I should have the truck finished and get the pull cord fixed on the splitter so I can put it back in service. Have a God day!

    Morning all. After the busy weekend, I am going back to work for a rest. Woke up to rain this morning so campinspecter will staying home and doing chores. He is itching to get back out and get another load of firewood. We are starting to see signs of spring with the salmonberry starting to leaf.

    Chvymn99 those are lovely looking chicks. I really like their colouring.
