Good morning! 49F and rain just started. It is supposed to pass through quickly with more coming tonight. If weather holds off, I have some ash to resplit. Otherwise I'm in the shop changing an alternator. Have a God day!

 

Morning all. Our beautiful weather is gone and it is drizzling this morning. Bookkeeping to catch up on, dessert to make and a few other chores to do. I bought an optical cord so hopefully I can use our older sound system with the new TV we bought last week. TV sound is awful compared to our sound system.

Got a fire going in the stove this morning then headed into town for a fasting blood test. I should have the results of that test later today. Good day to stay inside and get work done. I have a small river running thru the yard. Maybe the rain will help to melt the snow I still have.

 

We have our TV shows and movies pumped into our surround system. As you state, much better sound.

A few years ago, we bought a sound bar. Much better than TV speakers . Most TV watching is with the sound bar. "Big sound" comes on for movies and action shows, or music.

Good luck with optical digital connection. Those connectors only go in one way. They are keyed for what they plug into.

My wife and I had a nice time at the cabin this past week.

Are the hot rocks taken to the sauna?

 

No they hold heat in he cabin at night when the fire burns down.

Our sauna stove holds rocks as well for making the steam.

Thanks for the tip on the optical cord. It worked very well once I figured out there was small plastic coverings on the tips as well as bigger covers for the ends.

 

Good afternoon, y'all. Hope y'all are having a SUPER SATURDAY. We left this morning and went to our friends place and did more wiring in the barn. Got most of it done, flood lights mounted, then the thunderstorm rolled through. Man, it was loud in there...got the lights hung inside. Going out to dinner with out pastor and family, his MIL birthday is tomorrow.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. Today is Palm Sunday. Heading to church later this morning, then get a nap, got to work 7PM-7AM shift tonight to cover for a coworker vacation day. He took off to see about his mom. She's been in ICU for a week.

Good Morning. How are things down under leoht ?

 

It's been a mild summer down here which has been great, very few bushfires and generally low stress weather wise. Now if only work could be low stress that would be awesome.

Our new adopted dog has settled in well.
