Good morning, members.

Cold temps returned. 29⁰ and clear. Upper 30's and breezy later.

We'll be paying my folks a visit this morning. Then, meeting with our tax guy this afternoon.

13f here in Southern Vermont.
Been working on a “treasure hunt” project for my company the last week or so. One of those time suckers thats never quite done. I hope to call it good today.

Clean the shop back up from the mess generated from all that since it involved woodworking, welding, plasma cutting, and metal cutting it made a mess. And every tool I own seems to be laying on a bench scattered somewhere.
Truthfully, that cleaning time is my “thinking bout it” time reset every week. Fill the Woodchuck and just piddle through it listening to the radio.

The woodshed is getting low. I hope it’ll make it till April. Not a big deal to pull from the stacks if needed.

Put the generator away that I got out for the recent power outage.

I have a couple of ceiling can lights to mount over the laundry counter but we’ll see if I get that far.

I been cleaning my shop up a well. It was an absolute mess. It’s taken me a couple of weeks working on it in my spare time to try to get it looking half decent. Seems like life for me right now is “Me versus Time”. Always running behind.

 

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. Blue skies and about 37° this morning, heading to the 60's. Last day of 7AM-7PM shift for me, off tomorrow, then back on nights.
I did make it to the woodyard about 9 last night, got a pile to stack later.
Going to visit our son and his family tonight.

Morning All. Above freezing here with the possibility of rain. We were thinking of going over to Mom's to move firewood but there is women's world curling to watch as well. Once it gets light, we will see what the weather looks like.

Good late morning. We had a nice time. It was cold and windy but beautiful out on the ice of Mississippi backwaters.



We were on 20” of solid ice, but the main river current had cut in about 200 yards out from us.

We caught enough fish for a few meals. As a bonus we saw lots of migrating swans and other waterfowl that were stalled out in the migration north in the face of a strong cold north wind.

The 1st day of Spring is off to a cold start in the mid-20's. Heading to mid-50's and full sun.

I hope to spend some time in the yard cleaning it up a bit.

Planning to saw a pile of 4x4 cedar for our goat barn project this morning, then we'll see if we can get some of them set in place this afternoon.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Looks like our weather is like everyone else's. 26° heading to the mid 50's, got a nice fire in the stove.
I'm off today, so headed to the woodyard, got to stack the hickory and cut some more. May meet some friends this evening.
