    Morning all. Wet, windy and dark this morning. Staying home to watch Men's Canadian curling championships today. Around lunch we are headed out to check out a hemlock score a friend is offering Mom. I think we are going to have rain for most of the week so it might be awhile to get out and get it.

    Hammerhead20 have you been watching any of the World Baseball Classic? I think Canada plays today at 3:00 ET

    Nope… but in about 20 weeks I should be seeing some start coming in…. I’m getting 1-4 eggs a day from the bigger girls…

    True dat… plus I know what they eat and how they are cared for… much better tasting eggs too….in fact… I’m cooking black eye peas and some split peas for them….

    I spent time in the shop for the morning. I had to replace the wire on the Woodchuck to the big blower. Somehow it got against the rear panel and melted. All should be well now.
    Snow is due here tomorrow so cleaned out the living room stove and brought wood up to the porch.
    Broke the new to me 461 out for a tank of fuel on some 4-6” rounds in the pile.
    Lot of fun!
    After stacking it all, bout done for the day.
    Snow coming in mean’s probably inside work tomorrow.

    Good evening! It's been a long and busy week but it's good to be home. Currently 34F and light snow all day. So far today has consisted of church, lunch, groceries and a nap followed by some cutting and stacking. Have a God day!

    Due to winter storm Sage, we'll have heavy, wet, wind-driven snow starting tonight as rain, changing to snow. We could get up to a foot when it's done on Wednesday. Wind gusts up to 60mph. Power outages probable.

    Nice day today, though. Low 30's now. Mid-40's later.

    Storm prep today. Bringing wood to the deck, a few groceries to pick up, gas up the snowblower, put up some water.

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. About 45° this morning, heading to low 60's, might get a light frost tonight. Planning on moving the splitter to the calico(biggest) shed, and start processing the hickory we have. 1 more night to work.
