Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 25° this morning, heading to maybe 60°. Got rhe stove burning some cull split wood.
Got to hit the woodyard this morning. Cut a tote of 14" splits early Oct for a customer, they never would commit to getting it, so another new customer got it. Now the original customer called...:headbang::headbang:
Plus we're working on a cord load of oak.
My days off are over, work 1 nite 7PM-7AM tonight.
    Remember the GOLDEN RULE
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Going back to the surgeon today to have the dressing removed. I imagine I'll have a splint and/or bandage of some kind. Don't know yet about restrictions, etc. I've learned that oven mitts make excellent cold weather gloves when you can't put regular gloves on. :D

Morning All. Dark and damp this morning. We had a great shopping trip yesterday and got back in time for the last half of the Grey Cup game. Quite the cliffhanger right down to the last second. CFL football at its best.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning! 34F and sunny. It will be a little warmer this week. Had record breaking sales at the roadside stand last week and delivered a face cord of mixed hardwood yesterday. I have 1/4 cord of shorts to get out this week. Truck acted up as I was pulling in the driveway from the delivery so I need to dig into that today and see what's happening. Probably make more bundles if I have time. Have a God day!

Good afternoon all. Still in the teens . Warming up to upper 30s. So let the melting begin.
    Have a great day all.

    Good morning, members.

Mid-20's and clear. Heading to mid-40's and sunny.

I'll be bringing some wood up to the deck. Then, whatever needs to be done ahead of guests arriving tomorrow and Thanksgiving.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

I split one and it split pretty good. I split another and it was still pretty stringy.. But its still pretty wet inside. So I'll buck and let them sit for a bit to dry out...

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Mid 40's, clouds moving in later. Got to deliver a tote of wood this morning, then meeting my brother and SIL for breakfast. They had come down for a funeral. A friend from our local Baptist church called, they had some hickory and a big oak taken down, members have gotten the smaller wood, wanted to know if we could get the big stuff....sure thing...
Hope to finish the cord load after that...see how the day goes...

Got offered about 10 dead elms by next door neighbor. Quite convenient. I was working on them yesterday and the neighbor 2 doors down said he had some elms as well, that I could have if I wanted. When it rains it pours. Good title for a country song.
Starting to think about plan B for splitting as opposed to my favorite and usual hand splitting.

But they can wear out fast. If you could find some good mittens, especially with good fleece or sheepskin that would work well.

We had some thawing yesterday afternoon. Today we might get rid of most of the rest of the snow.

Good morning everyone! No snow here. It may get warm enough (40's) to do stuff outside. At the very least I'll pick up pine cones. FgY2NpE.png
    Have a good one!

She's not a fan of the mitts. I say don't knock 'em til you've tried 'em!

Not sure yet. I started it yesterday and it ran great. I did add some coolant but couldn't find anything else.
