Good Morning, Brothers & Sisters Thread

Morning all. Another clear cold morning with the prospect of sunshine all day. We have been blessed on this end of Vancouver Island because the other end has had fog for most of the days we have had sunshine. Temps below freezing in the morning. Nice to have a warm house.

Once Jesus was arrested, he was taken to Annas and then Caiaphas the high priest. Along the way, the mob was out of control with their shouting and abuse of him. Jesus' trial was a kangaroo court with made up charges that couldn't be proven. Why did he go through this when the angels of heaven could have rescued him or he could have displayed his divine power and slain his accusers? He did it for you and me and all those who have called on him throughout the ages. He did it out of love for each fallen sinful human who ever lived whether they believed in him or not. The payment for our sins which we could never repay, was the goal set before him.

But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 Isaiah 53 definitely needs reading often.

Mid-20's and clear. Only up to mid-30's today, breezy, with a chance of a squall later.

Thanksgiving turkey is thawing in the fridge.

I hope to change the oil in the snowblower. It started easily yesterday. That's always a good thing!

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. Not as cool this morning, 41°, but let the fire die out yesterday. Woke up about 4AM and house was 66°. Built a fire and it's cozy now. Going to church since I'm off today, then a new customer is picking up a load of wood about 2:30 this afternoon.

Morning all. Over cast and foggy this morning so it was above freezing. I think we are in a warming trend over the next few days. We are making a trip down island today to get some Christmas shopping done. I have the Grey Cup on record so we can watch it when we get back tonight.

Mid-teens and clear. Sunny and near 40, later

Continuing holiday prep. We're having some family guests staying with us later this week. So..... we put our tree up over the weekend.


I'll be doing some grocery shopping this morning.

We'll be taking Thanksgiving to my folks on Thursday. There's a large kitchen and dining area just outside their room. We'll be roasting the turkey there. It'll be alot of work, but there'll be many hands.
