Both pups love it. Saucy goes in just after a little bit, Maple runs, quick turns, and runs with excitement!

Continued stacking while tree turkey is cooking. Transported about 8 loads to the stacking area. Just need to finish up the 3rd row. One of these days I'll beef up the wagon axle....

Looks much more like winter there than it does at my house. The little snow we had is now melted.

Got an inch while I was outside, that band has passed, more coming, I'm thinking we'll get another 2"- 4"

Until the ground freezes hard, we'll lose it too. Just have a little more to resplit, then stack.

Everything finally stacked. I ended up resplitting a lot of the last pile, Dawn did the stacking. Ended up with 25'x5'x4' or 3.9 cords, plus what we've already burned! Not to shabby...... I made a make shift shelter for it, really just using two 6x8 tarps, which I'll need to get two more. I know it won't hold up to heavy snow loads, but I plan to whack it from underneath to get the snow off, so it will work until I get a shed built next spring. Below is half of the wood....

What's funny was that the winter I lived in Maine, it was abnormally not snowy. The snowmobile trails were barely open unless you got to around Rangely.

    But, that was abnormal.

Well Seasoned , how's that craftsman trailer holdng up under firewood use?

I'm looking at getting a similar type of trailer for behind my atv.

    Good.....
The axle is bent to chit, been for years, say ill replace it every year, haven't yet. Tires sprayfoamed, but its a tank! Once I beef up the axle, it'll sit nicer and haul better.

Not to mention the fact that you will be more knowledgeable when you talk to potential customers about the merits of different stove. I have little doubt but what cleaner burning stoves will be the only ones that can be sold in the not so distant future.

Don't hold your breath waiting for that! We have had many winters that the ground in the woods never froze before the snows came. Late warm falls like this one are often examples. But if we loose our snow cover, like in Jan., the ground will freeze hard and the frost will go down a few feet. Never predictable about what will happen. Jan and Feb are always the worst when it comes to cold.

The EPA has already come in, along with other stores to check things out. Harman used to make a pellet furnace, it was simple, ran great and clean......but not clean enough. EPA put a hold on their production, and this proved to expensive to make changes, so it was discontinued. The reason these stoves keep going up in price is because of the cost to keep up with the epa standards-which keep going up.
