Has anyone here ever tried their hand at gold electroplating. I remember my dad doing it when I was a kid. Now I have a want/need to get a few small pieces done. I haven’t done a lot of internet research yet. But not wanting to spend a lot of money on getting the stuff to do it just looking for someone who might have some ideas and experience. Maybe even willing to do it for me for a price.
I've sort of looked into this for zinc, zinc dichromate, black phosphate, etc. for car parts. It doesn't look too hard to do, just lots of back and forth and having space to dedicate to it. I think Caswell or someone made a kit that was pretty self explanatory, not sure about gold plating though.
