Not trying to be snarky at all I'm glad you seem to me at least calmer. I'm well aware of the rules and I respect the rules and your....passion for wanting to keep things cool Again I'm sorry if my intentions don't come out clear or if somebody takes things wrong. It is not my intention. With that said, I feel as though you called me out from right feild for some strange reason. I would suggest leaving verbal reprimands to the mods, as calling somone out can be just as bad as what you are pointing out. If there was a problem I hope they would contact me. Maybe you should have PM'd me first. Thanks for making a "new guy" feel welcome Don't worry Schlot, I'll take my own(ban) break from the forum.
Feelings? What feelings? Hunger and loneliness are feelings, right? No one is accused of being snarky (what ever that is). We just tend to self-moderate on the forum. There are other forums that just love to lock things down, not so much here at all.
I assume you are referring to my post. It was not meant to be disparaging of anyone’s intellect or disrespectful of any FHC members if that is what you are implying. Simply my opinion that summarily dismissing data from NASA as “nonsense” and statistically “twisted” and then citing backyard data as proof of the dismissal is indicative of the average persons misunderstanding of the complexity of the issue. I too was on hearth dot com and did not appreciate the censorship and the backstabbing that it induced. One of the things I appreciate most about FHC is the lack of heavy handed moderation. The no BS “call it like you see it” posts can sometimes be the most helpful.
