I think propane is the way to go. For a genny and stove. It would also be easy to add a little ventless propane wall heater "just in case". Gives you a little flexibility in the winter or for back-up heat if you need to leave the house.

Funniest thing.. and completely true story.. the first time I met my ex FatherInLaw he asked me that. "Do you stand or squat?" I had absolutely no clue what the hell he was talking about. I felt like such a dumazz after he explained it.. but I couldn't help but bust out laughing then also. He was a good man, even offered to get me a good welding job back in Dallas even after the divorce. I guess he couldn't read or right very well, but he had to quit school at a young age to work and help put food on the table, he was a standup guy, and from all accounts one hell of a welder.
