Horrors. Had a dog get stung by ground bees once. Took her to doggy ER for steroids and antihistamines. She threw up balls and ball of bees. There is more to the story but that is enough. Reactions are often worse the next time. Glad you knew what to start with. Hope the dog is better today.

So, there were 9 pups in the litter of the three yellow lab pups that we want a male from. Unfortunately 6 are females, and only 3 males. We are 4th on the list for a male.
    :(

The only bit of good news for us is that the lady ahead of us is seriously considering getting a female, in that case we will be in luck. I did tell the breeder to try to convince the lady to take a female with a ;) at the end of the request.

Keep your fingers crossed guys. This may be a while though, so it's tough for us.

2 to 1 female to male ratio in this litter:headbang:

These guys are cute as can be, but the wife only wants a male. The breeder said we'd be 3rd choice of we want a female.

We're just going to have to let fate play out on this one. If it's meant to be, it will happen.

I think it's odd that there were 6 females in a 9 pup litter. Bad odds.

16.4% chance, assuming exactly 50/50 male:female, which is almost never true in mammals. Don't know exactly for dogs. Here's the data for humans https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_sex_ratio

All 9 pups made it too, there were none that didn't make it.

I've got to stop thinking about it. It's out of my hands. Plus the wife came up with a name already before.....

William Ryan.... If we get lucky and the lady ahead of us picks a female instead of a male.
