I know how you feel. Took a long time convince people that imported food items from China are toxic for pets, but now the FDA has issues warnings and petco has pulled the products and by march they will be off the shelves of pet smart. Because the pet food industry does not get the scrutiny that human food does, lots of products are not just low in nutrition, they are bad for the animals health and of very nefarious origins.
Have you seen the new lines of pet food that old names like Purina are now on the market? People have awaken to the fact that many grains, such add corn, corn gluten, soy, animal by products (floor sweepings in the slaughter house) are low grade foods. Often the animal has to eat a lot just to get min. nutrition. This results in large poops, and often allergic reactions like skin problems. There are volumes of supportive data on this subject.

Never seen or heard a shreeeeeker quite like Giz, Terry. We love her for sure... but, man... it's unreal. There's no doubt she burns as much energy makin' noise out there as she does bullin' thru the deep snow. Maybe I'll start wearing earcups... ;)

My neighbor hsa three little foo-foo dogs that are also shriekers. Been listening to it for 16 years now. Every time one dog dies, he gets another that seems to be worse. I can't tell you how much I enjoy that sound....(cuz I don't). The neighbor is clueless.

We call the lil black one "squeek", as "shreeek" was a bit feminine for him.

They prolly are alike when strangers show up with their shreeeekin Terry... but do the Blurrs do it, non-stop while chasing a ball, or just running around? I've never seen a small dog do it quite like Giz. I could chuck a tennis ball all day with her, and I think she'd love it... but she can only handle about 6 times now because of the effort she puts into shreekin... :picard: Our 2 huskies never barked once.

Squirrel watch/stealth mode... can't move, snow has to build up on her back to blend in. 1/2" so far.
