Got home from work the other day and as I pulled into the driveway I saw Rainey up in the bedroom window. It made me smile so I had to take a pic. I usually WFH, so don't usually get to see this side of the window.



I had to call a plumber to fix my kitchen faucet (which decided to let go on a work day instead of a weekend where I would have time to deal with it myself). So, the two youngsters were relegated to their pen while he was here. They like their pen, and don't view it as punishment. However, I don't know what Rainey was doing with that bed on the floor. She might have been trying to get it to lay over her like a blanket, or just trying to hide but I've never seen her do that before. And of course that is Spot on the shelf above.

 

Labs will be labs! He would swim in a teaspoon if he could get himself into it!

I picked up on of those "training collars" last friday. The lab began roaming once again. Immediate neighbors have a dog and the lab decided it needs a playmate. Trouble with that is two years ago they told me their dog has at least 7 seizures a year!

Then, another neighbor 3 doors to the north began getting visits from the lab.

So......it has felt the collar one time so far; I hope that'll do.

We use a Dremel tool with sanding drum to do ours. Able to shape the edges nicely with it.

 

We use clippers similar to the ones pictured, then Dremel smooth.

 

My wife does our girl's once a week. She has them textbook perfect and not a sound crossing the hard floors.
