Congrats Larry. May you have many enjoyable years with your new Fur Buddy. When we adapted our current dog she was also lyme positive. It took 2 courses of antibiotics but she has been symptom free for 4 years now. Good luck and enjoy. He has found the perfect rescuer.

We really don't know his age, but he seems very young. I'll know better once the vet checks him out. We gave him the name "Riley" . I took him into PetSmart today and bought a new harness and Leash. The first leash I bought was black and I had a very hard time finding it. This new one is red. I don't dare let him off leash yet. I'll wait a while. My plan is to hire a trainer. Need to resolve the issue between him and my son's dog. His husky is very hostile towards him.

Take it slow! It'll happen in time.
Teeth and eyes will get them close, along with bone structure.

And here is my new buddy, Riley.
All the silver in the black is his coloring, not age. He is very young. He got sheared down because he was covered in matted hair.

I think the groomer was trying for the poodle look. That is how they are trimmed when they don't have their tails cropped when they are puppies. Personally, I am not interested in having tails or ears cropped for appearances. Once things settle down for him, I'll go to a groomer and have his hair trimmed for a more natural look. I think he'll have more bushy eyebrows and whiskers. Tail will be more consistent.
