Always sad to hear when a fur child passes, most of us have experienced it but always hurts like hell no matter what.

The cats are starting the New Year out right. After breakfast they are relaxing while keeping me company in my office.

Well the crazy cat lady here is now feeding the two we took on, +1 here and there over the years, and now 3 more that were not trapped by authorities after they left their unfixed colony when they moved. Of all things the second one we took on is playing for the new 3, begging for food and letting them use her outdoor heatpads we have both on & in her shelter box we built for her. I am not able to trap and get them shots/wormer/spayed or neutered til late spring when it warms up. I've never known stray cats before except when they ended up at the humane society I worked at and they sent the wild stray ones to us in the clinic for vaccinating.......... But now learning about it, their world is bananas. Many get along with eachother but the +1 cat I mentioned earlier that appears to be mother or father of some of them (size of them and racoon tail markings), appears to be a female from the behind views I've seen, and is ancient-very very old. but they do not like her? Wha?

Pampered pooches are the best! He looks comfy :) Unasked advice, VetWrap works well too for holding things on our furry ones, I just needed to be careful to not wrap it too tight on one of our dogs feet/ankles. Cool stuff, stretchy and wide and sticks to itself.

Do you use salt ice melt where Dew walks? I heard that irritates some dogs. That and I do not recall what he did at his previous home, maybe he's still building his pads up?
