Inept on phone, computer hijacked w lil one on abcmouse.com. Blondie sent home w new ear meds n prednisone n needs both teeth at the very back on bottom jaw are bad. Thinking will sched her dental n new kitten neuter at the same time in 2 weeks. She went to cool laundry room for some sleep . www said they did not sedate her and she extremely cooperative n basically layed down for them and did not whince or cry but let them help her.

Hello everyone, I've been very busy lately and we've had this little addition for the last week. Her name is Bella and she is 100% Border Collie. She is now 13 weeks and we were on a waiting list for some time. The Pics are not so good but she's like a loose fish in a boat to take a picture of quite the wiggle worm... More pics down the road as she grows!

 

Sigh, Blondie is not better, a bit worse, will not get up at all, or drink, though she did take turkey meat from me readily. WWW was finally able to take off from work early (phew) and is on the way to come get her. I would take her to town but cannot get her into either truck without her help and she hates riding in cars anyway. We'll see, full work up, cbc, metabolic, and xrays and whatever other tools they have to investigate. She's now holding up a leg, kinda back to the injury thing (I worried the ear infection penetrated her ear drum and the sore neck was eustachian tube, nope.) Also I remembered today she got ahold of a an empty fancy feast can for the kitten a week or so ago (found the chewed tin remnants). Seems like a long time but who knows, just wracking my brain for possibilities. This home compared to our previous one that she grew up in is flat as a pancake with the exception of our new higher mattress. NO idea.


WWW mentioned last night that she was unusually quiet/stoic during the vet appt, that obviously did not help. She is a very good patient, but obviously....wish they could talk.

Xrays and blood work came back normal/ok. Nausea shot and pain meds. She, as I type, drank a whole bowl of water thank goodness. I'm clueless on this one, glad she's getting something that helps.

I noticed her breathing was a bit smaller and faster lately, assumed it was pain, guess it was nausea?

Thanks! Chrissy wanted her "months" ago and we had her on hold. Yes, there very smart! She's been here a week and she is almost house broken. She listens real well and knows her name already.

 

Just like cake and ice cream! No problems at all. The old man has played "momma duck" and the three year old is still getting used to a "faster runner" but they play real well!!!
