Luckily she doesn't need to touch a road getting back to the house after a couple of those brown bottles WS as she does get to think she's the Boss. She's in good shape but does limp pretty good now after a long run.
Sounds like it might be time to discuss with the vet, putting her on medicam. Wonder drug for older pups who have joint discomfort especially in this weather.
Been using that stuff around here for years rotti. We try to use buffered aspirin for as long as possibly first though as the vet keeps telling us about it giving them kidney problems. But if ya read up on it so does buffered aspirin.
Emma may be slowin down (I know the feelin) but she looks mighty comfy right there... good to see her out hangin with Dad...
Weirdest looking dawgs I've ever seen...... wait... The Bighorns come down in groups to lick the mag-chloride right on the Hwy. They almost never cross the fog-stripe, but they can cause a big distraction if you're not used to them.
We'll be approaching a vet for rimadyl or whatever is the new medicine in the next year or so, both dogs need much more effort getting up and a couple stiff steps to get going lately.
I'm thinking maybe I should try some of that........................this "old dog" is pretty stiff these days too. I've now stopped chasing cars down the side road.
