Eight blue heeler pups born last Sunday. Was a bit concerned because we moved Momma into the barn. Getting to be that time of the year we can heat the kennel if needed, but it's 90 degrees out there today, and she's such a good mom I'm pretty sure she could have kept them warm enough anyway. They're well on their way now.

Had to go and rescue one of the dogs from when our dogs had puppies.

Drove all the way to Darien Wisconsin.

Its quite the story.. I got the dog back and he's is here to stay.
    We have 4 now.
He is about a year and 4 months old.
The brother we kept is from the same litter.

These are all from our pit stop on the way home.

The dog we rescued, is Remy. He is the one that is basically in front in all of these.
He has the red collar on, being chased by his brother, Jimmy

Not sure how you couldnt love this dog... He is wonderful

    Oh they all love eachother.

We took Remy into our household about 6 months ago to work on potty training, i spent $600something on him
at the vet on shots and getting him clipped. Owners never took him to the vet for his last set of shots after they picked
him up from us.. Anyways, 6 months ago Momma dog had a hard time getting along with him.

Now, they are all getting along great. Its been real easy doing this so far, we thought it was going to be a mess.

They have a way of sorting themselves out, don't they? So much happier in a pack, but you must go through a lot of dog food!

Im not sure about sorting them selves out, anymore they stick pretty close together.

We definitely use some dog food... Remy acts like he is starving 24-7.
I'll keep feeding him until he gains some weight. He's about 20lbs lighter then his brother.

Frappy ate 3/4 of a cherry pie on me when I left for all of 3 minutes.

Got sticky red pie filling all over himself, his face, the living room and half the blankets in the house. and the couch and bed.

fairly certain the little one probably chimed in too but hes very neat and orderly so not covered in evidence...

 :lol:Not sure what kind of party the dogs had while I was gone for a few hours today. Got home and there was a bowl taken out of the sink and spoon on the floor. 1/2 of lil ones stuffed animals were taken out of her room and I found them near the closet in my bedroom. Comforter was wrinkled a bunched up on one side of the bed, the same side they managed to slide our mattress topper and mattress pad over too. Oh yes, and a couple remnants of paper towels stolen out of the kitchen garbage can on our bed. (blondie opens the lid with her nose and I forgot to turn it backwards). :sherlock:
