Far out, WWW picked up a lost dog today. Its a boxer, kinda looks older. Poor lil guy is scared, whining and doesn't understand why I won't let him in the house (he's in the garage since my dogs and him don't know eachother). Atleast he's off the highway. Ads out on the facebook groups. Um, or should this pic be on the slipper thread ?

HA! I belong to all the groups in this small town that I know of, I googled it, and sure enough, there is one of those for my lil town too!! Thanks Larry, posted him there too:) Getting antci to hear from his owners. We put (my good:picard:) rugs in the garage, doubled them up for him to lay on. WOW is this one well trained dog!

I thought my dogs had expressive faces? Wow!

So glad you were able to keep the poor pooch safe. Did the owner give a reason the dog got lost?

I am inept to screen shot, but here is a post the wife put up tonight. Within minutes another gal that neither of us know replied to my FOUND post and said "this looks like the same dog".

"Our sweet boy took off from home today and he is still missing. Anyone see him please pm me!"

Not sure how the dog got out. They have a ranch out here. The Husband said he's not supposed to be out of the yard (small area considering they own/run a ranch). They were grateful and appreciative. AND, they have a little girl that will be going to my daughters tiny school next year, and far out- It's the same gal the registered me to vote last year in town. Fun Stuff, and Sherman is home and happy again :)

Got a little more of the story last night after we settled in for the night. The husband said the dog was poisoned, they have no idea how but think it was deliberate  Anyway he was in ICU at the vet for 7 days and was only back home 2 nights when he got out yesterday morning and WWW picked him up off a different highway. I kept looking at him yesterday wondering why he looked so skinny but appeared to be quite healthy, I wrote it off as he was just older than he looked (I aged his teeth though, didn't make sense). They are wondering if he's just a bit confused being SOO sick and away from home and still recovering. Mystery not solved but it's making better sense. Notice the difference in muscle mass between the pic I posted and the one the wife posted?

Some hound mixed up with a really long weiner dog and they had one pup. Instead of being in the freak show, it got mixed into the magician's show :D
