    Ok, a few thoughts from the vet.....

    She weighs 78 lbs, not overweight at all, fur is nice and thick for winter, she has an infection in one ear, vet said likely from the temperature change, things popping up from the ground early, itchy, she scratched, blood may have made it's way down into the ear canal, she'll be ok & on meds. Lastly, she will likely have arthritis in her hips at an older age. The way she stands shows us what the future will hold, keeping her from slipping reduces the chances. She was limping at times, so we asked.

    My Fuzzy Buddy Sampson left the world abruptly this morning... held him in my arms and gave him mouth to mouth all the way to vet He came back 2-3 times but sadly succumbed to what must've been an embolism.

    Remember to enjoy their company as much as they do yours.

    The reverend Billy Graham answered a young girls plea, "my dog passed away, will he be in heaven? " The reverend responded " Heaven is full of happiness, and if your dog will make you happier, he will be there!"

    Take care Basod, you did everything you could, sweet Sampson knows this and was loved.

    Thanks for the condolences
    Having lost several over the years this one hurts worse as he ran to me and left in my arms it should give me closure as time will but he was 8-9yo 4 of which he spent with me and enjoyed being a real dog not cooped up yorkie lifestyle.

    Hopefully there's a snorting fur ball waiting on the other side he was one of those few smart ones you encounter in life
