Love it! Looks as tho Emma is a natural with smaller buds.

Giz can be a real putz when it comes to bigger dogs. She does OK with my son's 2 huskies… but she gets in trouble fast with big dogs she doesn't know. Shows aggression way too much… almost got her head taken off in Portland last fall. Had to yank her straight up to keep her away from the teeth of a very pizzed off neighbor dog. He was fine, until Giz started in… wasn't good.

Sorry to hear that. I haven't met a weimaraner that wasn't a bundle of joy. Such a sweet breed.

We seem to like breeds that shed long hair like a blizzard. Drives my wife nuts… I just figure it adds insulation…

Uh... Hmm... I have no idea what is going on there, but I can't erase the posts? Instead it posted again! Maybe a mod can fix?

The hair from my Lab is bad enough it has clogged the washing machine a few times just from it coming off clothes, bed sheets, etc.
Somehow it gets in the kitchen cupboards even. I've probably ate a lb of it over the last few years.

Otis was Haileys buddy, she kept him inline. Now that Hailey has passed Otis is feeling his oats and some what of a handful.

"Wimeraner? How was it on shedding? I had a German Shorthair and that wasn't bad. My black lab now though, I dont get how he is not bald. Great dog but the hair EVERYWHERE is a pain."

Yes, she shed. I was constantly cleaning. The first clue she was not up to par came from that picture. I only tied her up when I was mowing and that was the first time she ever laid down. I was also able to get a shot of her face. She never let that happen. The characteristics with the bred are that they are extremely active (never stood still) and need to be by the owner's side 24/7. It makes me a little sad to see her at that point but it is one of the few pictures of her face.

My Beagle is in my avatar...Really miss her but now I can come and go as I please and not worry about a dog sitter, she passed away at 15 years old back in 2004 and I have not got another yet...

My lab will stare at me sometimes.

Has scared the crap out of me a few times. Wake up in the middle of the night and there's a black face inches from me with eyes.
Let me tell ya, that wakes a person up quick!!

I love it when my black lab visits me in the morning. She jumps up on bed. The crawls up to my face and will poke at me. If I ignore her, she gives my face a washing! Not good for my bipap face mask to have slobber on it.
