Thanks for the well wishes everyone - He seems to be doing better.
Vet gave him a tranquilizer along with some antibiotics and ran some blood work for baseline.
The Tranquilizer immediately stopped his drooling and settled most of the tremors - Vet said he doesn't think it's anti-freeze as no smell of it in the vomit we scrapped off the floor from this AM's episode.
Vet thinks symptoms of acute toxicity and/or possibly Botulism, or it could just be a worse than normal seizure.

When the GF called this AM frantic about him I thought I was going to have to take him on "The Ride":( - strange because I contemplated this a week or so ago after realizing he's ~10yo, but he's otherwise happy healthy active dog, meets me everyday at the truck door excited like a 1yo puppy:)

Sorry to hear this basod. I've dealt with dogs and seizures...no fun at all.

I had to give the old dog phenobarbital twice daily to prevent them as it got worse.

I hope Billy Bob recovers quickly.

Billy Bob is back to 100% normal
Apparently he thinks a little extra leeway should be given on taking my couch spot

I had to post this one up. Hopefully not already up here, as I only check in this thread once in a while. I keep watching it over and over.

There is something more to that dog. Not many of them react to music.

Wonderful. Don't let age get in the way of his care.
I've had a couple dogs live well at 17. Even one grossly obese hound. Poor thing never could be satisfied with a diet.

You are correct Larry. News reports say the dog is deaf and probably feels the vibrations of the guitar.

Our friends have a deaf Boston Terrier that is a great little dog. He responds to a few hand signals and he is very observant to what people are doing. Especially at mealtime.
