My cat was wowing usually in the other room this morning, went to see what was up, looked out the back door and there was a black cat sitting in the live trap, never caught a cat before, I was using cat food for Coon bait as I have before .
I've seen this cat before he belongs to someone he is in good shape.
Went out right quick to get him out of there, he was scared and pizzed off:hair:
Took off like a shot when I let him out of there, I bet he won't get back in there again :D

If you don't shut them in at night, what is to stop a coyote from attacking. I can hear the coyotes yelping many night. Sometimes very load. I don't know how any animal survives with the menacing coyotes.

Our sheep are fenced in 24/7/365 or as you said, predators would take them out very quickly. Apparently, there are no major predators back in Iceland (at least for grown sheep), so they just turn them out and let them graze ad lib.

I've been hearing them more lately as well. I've read that typically, they are strategic killers, going for the animal Achilles tendon, meddling them immobile for a kill.

Hi Mike, how was your honey crop this year? If you are selling I'd like to buy another. I don't remember the link. Thanks.

Out here many ranchers use a llama or mule/donkey to alert them to predators.

Or some use Maremma Sheepdog, or Great Pyranees, or a Komondor.

I understand how your fence will keep your sheep in, but not how it will keep the coyotes out? They are very cleaver
