That one in the middle, the one with the mask. I would name it "Ranger" after the Lone Ranger.

Wow, you are really getting into it. I didn't think you were going to do cord wood this year, just pellets, but it looks like you will be doing both. Good idea if you can make it happen. Winters can be very hard and unpredictable up this way. You will be snug as a bug in the rug with a wood stove protecting you and the family.

The shop where I bend metal for ductwork at has a new dog.

It is a cross between a lab and a mastiff. Very nice! Sorry, no images.

If that keeps up, you may have to shave your cat.

I don't think I posted up picts of our now complete flock of 6 Icelandic sheep. This first picture is 3 ewe lambs. We will not be breeding them this year.
In contrast, here are our 2 full grown ewes, 3 and 4 years old respectively.
We a trying to breed them with this handsome ram lamb this fall.

I found a goat in my yard one time chewing on my bushes, put him in the big fenced backyard I had there, checked around with neighbors and nobody knew anything about where he might belong, next day a nice lady showed up looking for him, she was so happy to find him safe and take him home and reunite him with his buddy the Great Dane, he was 3 or 4 miles from home.

she sure must have been relieved! Around here, that goat would probably have been carried off.....in the bellies of a pack....

I never thought about that really, I know he belonged to someone you had a collar , where I found him was only about thirty yards from the 55 mph road.
I have found dogs before and got them back to their owners but, It was weird though finding a goat out in the yard
