That white long haired dog's had quite a trimmin' round the biznis end of the gun I can tell ya... and while I was trimmin, I was ready to duck fast... :dex::D

BTW... Sandy has been an angel through all this. And Giz has too. Giz seems to know we're trying to help and stands completely still while we're "workin" on her.

"sanitary cut". Might look funny but take as much off as you need to to keep you and her more comfortable:)

Any one tried some pepto? Also, back in the day, might be old news now I remember my boss prescribing a "bismuth" pill.

That's precisely why William's breeder leaves the dew claws on.

Raw is OK, cooked can cause an issue, but there's far worse things for them to ingest.

All day I have been syringing water and gastro dog food into Shadow. Two syringes ago, I added her antibiotics for the evening. Everything seems to staying down. Vet phoned to see how she was doing. She is still concerned about the not eating part so if that doesn't change tomorrow, I will be taking her to the vet again. I just have to remember not to tap the excess off the syringe on the edge of the bowl. I have to find her as she disappears as soon as she hears it.

Here's Badger and William. William's getting big. William really loves his big brother.

On a sad note, William's mom Tully was to give birth today to the next litter of lab pups, and none of the pups made it. It just reminds us how lucky we are to have gotten William. Considering the story we had and all.

Especially on Valentine's day. William was from Tully's first litter, all 9 were healthy.

My wife shared a few pics of William with Tully's human mom today. I hope that made her feel a little better. She's a caring dog parent, and we could feel it in our conversations over the phone and in emails. All of our good feelings were affirmed when we met her and picked up little William from her house and brought him into our family.

Rest up Tully, you're a great mom.

My dog choked to death on block of monterey jack cheese. There are things everywhere for them to get into, but I will not tempt them with bones. Back in the day I assisted in several different surgeries where a bone, regardless of the animal it came from, had perforated the the esophagus/stomach/intestines or whatever, no fun for anyone!! Sure I have accidently left trash bags out over the years and the dogs/cats of course got into them while I was at work, but I am vigilant with bones, chicken/pork/smaller beef bones/seafood exoskeletons, even cats can get into serious trouble with shiny christmas gift ribbons.

So Cornellious Slimensrouch Sluggensbaum III Esquire has blessed us again tonight with his attendance.

I hope he doesn't go too bold and try to leave the potted DMZ. Just beyond I spilled half a box of kosher salt a few months ago and still for the life of me have not cleaned it up. been busy with staring at it I guess.

And since its cold here is a pic of biggie and frappy (aka dingbat and hambone) snuggled on the dog couch.
