    I've gone thru it with 7 dogs and and several cats. One dog was only 2 years old and one cat wasn't even 2 (cancer w/ feline leukemia), the rest made it to at least 13 (and up to 16). I can testify that it does not get easier.

    Hang in there - nothing wrong with feeling the pain, even before the time has come.

    Thank you all!!! I guess the best thing can happen is he goes to sleep and just doesn't wake up, Unfortunately it never seems to go that way. My Daughter is with him till she has to go back to College, (Monday).
