Laser therapy is popular with physical therapy for pain management. They swear by it. It is also useful for speeding wound healing. To me, it is a stretch to think it is the treatment of choice for a split nail. My experience is that torn or damaged nails need to be removed to prevent infections, hyperplasia around the the offending nail etc. Having an active dog with a partially torn off nail doesn't seem like the treatment of choice to me, but then, I'm no veterinarian, (nor do I have any high overhead I have to pay for!) Did she do the Rx just one time? One time to me is waste of time. Needs to be done like three times a week, then twice a week, the once a week.

He'll be 8 in a couple months. Our 3 year old boxer may have contributed to him going gray a little early, haha.

My male dog is very protective, he doesn't take kindly to strangers, especially if I'm not around. My girlfriend dressed them up for Christmas, don't they look excited? Lol.

I hope he doesn't get chocolate chip cookies. I'll tell my dog, "No, you can't have this" and she stops begging. So usually I try to avoid having things around that are to be avoided cause I just hate telling them no and then eat it myself! I have a really bad weight problem. Mostly from snacking. The dogs will beg and eat about half of what I happen to get into so for me, that is a help. Mine love Pop corn.

He gets a little wired on this benadryl. Hes ok though. Being a chihuahua, bulgy eyes, they water a bit, and his coughing was likely from a weak tracia, which is more normal than not in a small breed. The benadryl is there to rule out allergies, which had helped, but to ealy to know yet.
