Most often I post pics of my two dogs, but some cat action coming at ya. This is my cat Giovani Blanco Riley Greene, he is wildly weird and crazy. Nobody in the house may love the stove like him. In the one pic where he is sitting next to the stove I put the IR thermometer on him and it read 137 degrees.

Loving every minute of it. You can use him as a temperature gauge. The closer he gets, the less fire, then time for a reload! :D

He might get grumpy when spring comes.

With a name like that I don't blame him for being a little weird.:)

Reminds me of our cat that we lost a year ago. :( He was weird, extremely funny and I miss him. :(

She has done it again. Any suggestions? (no signs of illness or uti). I was thinking a baby gate to keep her in our bedroom at night might work, but our human lil one shows up often at night and I don't want her to feel locked out....

Can you put a gate elsewhere to keep her near the bedroom?

Have you considered a pet door? Of course, you would want to fence a small area on the outside so the dog wouldn't wander away during the night....
Do you have a patio door?
    upload_2015-12-5_7-12-34.jpeg
Of course DH could make one out of a sheet of plywood with the a pet door installed at the bottom....just what he needs-another project! Don't forget to "seal" up between the glass panels (air leak)

wildwest I have a pet door still in the box. It's a good sized one (for a lab) that I'm not going to use.

If you go that route just give me a heads up and I will ship it out your way as an early Christmas present. :)

Thank you all for the great ideas! I think we will start with a leash and collar on the bed frame at night. We are a little bit gunshy of a doggie door, both because of the wind and the little one could easily fit through it...... What a generous offer schlot, I am sure it will find a good home:handshake:

That's some great pictures! Love the IR reading of 137...  If he stays there much longer, it's going to start smelling like your cooking Thankgiving dinner in the oven!

That last pic looks like he passed away from the joy from the heat of the stove...
