    Shouldn't be long. This evening she placed all 4 paws on the bow of the boat and within seconds, she was in the drink-head first! I grabbed her back up, I guess she liked it because she jumped after her favorite water toy. That was it though..... her and saucy fell asleep for the rest of the ride.

    It's been absolutely oppressive heat and humidity here in PA. Got "cabin fever" from hiding inside in the A/C. However, I still have some firewood and lumber logs that need tending too, so I'll going to try to take tomorrow off and get some work done in the woods in the morning.(?) Good luck to all. Keep an eye on your pets.

    I worked at a humane society. Volunteers and foster homes are needed badly. Everywhere in the US.
    Easy to get a puppy fix there if that is what you need :) Do something for the animals and your soul, like Horkn said, not bad to get out and meet new people,you never know :)

    (but you also may come home smelling like puppy breath and want one more)

    Nice link! A dogs "normal"temperature is much higher than a humans, yet they can get heat stroke at about the same temps as a human. Just goes to show how vulnerable our best friends are. Stay cool!

    So many people think giving the dog a hair cut keeps them cool.
    Their coat keeps cold out in the winter and heat out in the summer
