    Do they still play with the toy? I know that worked well with mine, but all dogs are not alike. However that squeaker issue is very common.

    Just dosed both dogs with bendadryl @6:45 pm now. They developed fear of thunder in Sept 2013 floods in Colorado, very long bad storm. Larger louder fireworks very close to this house now, hope it gives them some comfort :)

    That's about all you can do for them. That and keep them close to you with no open windows or door. I've know folks to loose their pets during thunder storms or fireworks because their dogs panicked and ran off not finding their way back.

    We got back from the weekend up north. Badger was fine with the fireworks watching from the boat with mom and pop. He did like the water ski show better than the fireworks, but once he realized they were just bright and loud and that we were in no danger, he was fine with the fireworks. We were a little ways out in the bay from where the shells were launched though.

    This little guy just couldn't care less about fireworks for the most part. Belle stayed with grandma and grandpa at the cabin, and leaving badger in the camper wasn't a good idea. As long as mom and dad are around, he's pretty care free. IMG_20150704_160455015.jpg
