Found a nice white oak at the top of the neighbors property where I cut. It was felled during the logging operations but never hauled out.
The tree is about 15" at the butt and about 30' long. Ruger and I pulled it over a 1/2 mile down to the log yard to be processed.
It's a pretty shaky vid due to the rocky terrain and a few small water crossings and water breakers!
    Hold on tight!

Time to start bucking Tim! You surely do pull some of those logs fast. Ruger seems to like it.

That's Great !! And your dog gets to do what dogs are ment to , run. Keeps them healthy and happy. Great name also !! What 4 wheeler do you use ?
I had checked into buying one of those arches . But the shipping was more than the arch . I should go to town and buy 20 ' of 2" square tubing and build one.

It's cut, split, hauled home and stacked. :dex:

I was hoping to take down three red oaks at mom's next week. Those plans might not work out now...:hair:

That log arch is nice! Much easier than using chains or tow straps.

Polaris xp 550. Now I wish I'd have bought the 850. I always run in low range.

I think even the big cc belt drive cvts still should be used in low gear when hauling.
