56 today and it was 56 yesterday. Starting to think I need to move to Alaska to get the weather I want.

Warm let the fire go out over night.

I like snow but mostly like when it ends.

My favorite part of winter is the very end!
Mild temps that we were experiencing for awhile are over with; also-back to snowing again.

I like the Feb & March months.
We usually have lots of snow & mild temps,
The longer daylight makes it fun to go riding to place you can only get to in winter.

We have plans to go to moose camp in Feb & work on some tree stands & trials.
Not able to safely cross the river yet , weird winter.
    That can change anytime though,
It's nice to have snow, one reason we live here.

Warmer temps are nice though, using less wood .
No way to fix the short day light hours though.

Right now we are +9º. However Sunday night we drop to -11º and a high Monday of a balmy -3º and -teens at nite. Favorite part of winter is the first snow that stays and then the end of snows in april/may.

It's in the 40's here today and tomorrow then getting back to more normal temperatures.

I've found that as the years go by I'm no longer looking forward to winter. I love fall as that is my favorite time but winter gets less appreciated every year now. So one might say my favorite time of winter usually comes in March; the first day we reach 60 degrees. Then the days are getting longer and the sun is beginning to give some warmth.

I have that too & Fall is a great time of the year

But having snow makes it tolerable here once we get enough daylight to enjoy it. :)
    Although
Hawaii would be a great place to be, Nov thru March

A very chilly 30 degrees around 4am today, calling for the upper 60's this afternoon, I'm digging through the stacks for junk and soft wood right now:hair: have all the racks close the house loaded with my good high btu wood for the cold weather. I really don't like anything about winter anymore other than sitting by the fire.:coffee:

They saw we officially hit 50 yesterday and today is 34. Quite a change. After this afternoon, no above freezing temperatures for several days.

I just wish the ground would freeze to cut down on the mud.
