That’s the good thing about having a dedicated cutting area with a thick bed of chips. A little slip up and the chain hits chips instead of sand, clay, or rock.
My word Jeff. That am a passel o kittens! Remember Ogden Nash's poem: The trouble with a kitten is THAT, eventually it becomes a CAT! Just sayin.
A better picture of the ash logs that were bucked in the video... Back and side view of rounds pile. It was easy to buck and then pile rounds using the grapple. Added boards above the pallets, so we could stack higher. That one tree had a bit more than a 1/3 cord in it. When we started with the new ash... After we finished... We have a full cord on ash in that shed, we also got a maple for the cemetery clean up, going to add it also. Maybe that will fill it completely
Had time after work yesterday to sort out a load of logs and get the maple, only 1 tree... Miz Carol is ready to mark the logs. Echo XS2511T was called on for the task... That's some pretty white wood... Had enough to finish filling that shed...
