By the way I have gotten bad pellets before(euraka-local made) and cost me an auger motor and a bushing.Picked up 5 bags last year(heard the "came around")burned 1 and dumped the rest on the driveway, still junk, happens.

Clean burn pot every other day, I guess I need that regimine while we burn through the Rocky Mountains. Thank you for the insight! We don't have a king/kroger up here, boy do I miss that store! We had a Marketplace King Soopers in Ft Collins it was fantastic. Ever heard of South & Jones pellets?
Thank you Thank you! I read the manual in Sept when we put the unit in, but honestly its was all new to me so couldn't actually apply a lot of the information in there. PS refresh my memory, what pellets are you burning?
Thanks imac, I can't seem to find the diagrams either, but wow I appreciate that you take time out for a stranger across the country !
Got it!! thanks a bunch imac, not that you would ever know unless you have esp, but I have first run model on redesign, so mine is actually the manual above the one you so diligently looked up for me.
I'm only correcting this for accuracy sake.....buuuut, depending on the version of the control board, you can vary the voltage fairly dramatically....somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 volts.....earlier boards were about 5 volts. DONT DO THIS WITHOUT TESTING DRAFT! As for the double paddle fan, most models actually have this, but a couple models only are available as single-sided paddle fans, such as the F/S Accentra. FWIW, the high altitude fan impeller isn't double sided at all, its got larger fins.
And just as amazing....I just happen to be enjoying an adult brew as we speak. Some smooth Mich Light in a retro Bubble Boys glass! Are the Rangers on tonight?
Thanks again Bob and RockyMtnHigh for all your advice! The RMP seem to have a lot more fines (hopefully using that term correctly, the saw dust that comes in the bag). My stove's auger does not like the the sawdust. Also, they do not feed as well as the Heartlands, both of us have poked the pot scraper tool into the hopper and have seen an avalanch of RMP pellets cave into the center (where my stove feeds). I have to wonder if that is because many of them are too long to feed properly.
That is possible, pellets come in all qualities and vary from batch to batch.A lot of stoves do not like fines.I have seen where purchasers(or the sellers) use lo bid for shipping, and the older truck/trailer rigs beat the pellets to death.I personally never like to see more than 1/4 cup of fines per bag, then I run it through my sifter, does not happen often.
I'm cheap--2 plastic 5 gal buckets,one I drilled lots of holes in the bottom.Dump in a gallon,swish around,dump out and do again.Does get 90 %.Have used them(on and off)for years.
