Getting to be that time of year again...

Time to take both of my biomass stoves apart and clean the exhaust passages out and remove the draft and room air fans as well as lubricate the auger and stirrer motors (mine has a motor driven stirrer (rouser as it's called) in the burn pot to stir the corn / pellet mix. The burn pats have been submerged in a pail of water all summer so I need to clean them as well and get everything 'ship shape' to use when it gets cold once again. Of course both are always plugged into a Tripp-Lite surge supressor so no worries about cooked circuit boards from the summer electrical storms.

Pretty soon the frost will be here and the stoves fired up for another cold season of roasting bio mass fuel.
