    Next week starts the annual skeeter spraying season. Actually dropping pellets.

    Yes. Every year. One year they were just finishing in this area during our GTG. The planes come a private airport SW of Elsie and they cover all of Saginaw County and at least some of Bay. I'm not sure how many planes they have but at least 4. We are right in their fly route so usually see them morning and evening.

    I'm quite surprised that with all the environmental and spraying/chemical regulations that they still do that.....

    Wonder how many mosquitoes yall have up there compared to us?

    It is done annually here. After the skeeters hatch they come around and fog. Every 2 weeks in early summer then not so often later on. We do pay a tax to have this. Naturally the city folks get more coverage than us country folks. However, with our house set back over 100 yards from the road, they come right up the driveway to fog and it helps a lot.

    Yes, the mosquito population is huge in most of MI and a lot of MI is covered with State and Federal forest.
