While pulling 5&6 year red oak, I've just been stacking the loose bark. I suspect it'll be used up in campfires.
Bark tiles are used as ground cover and have been used for top cover before. I did burn a big pile of it this winter. The splitter leavings become kindling. Just walked around last night and picked up a feed sack worth. You could wait until your fire is well burning and toss in some bark every so often.
If it is burnable, it goes in the wood pile. Random pieces go through the shredder and into compost. Makes some good stuff when mixed with grass clippings, chicken manure, rabbit poo, and other odds and ends.
